12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
Philippians 3:12-13
Have you reached the point you have always longed for and now you do not want to go any higher in any area of your life? Are you so content with your achievements that there are no new grounds to conquer and you have gotten to the point where you say to your- self, “Lord, thank You, this is the highest point I’ve always dreamed to reach in my life.”? If you can say that of yourself, then it means that you have set limits on your life. Take off those limits!
You may have reached a certain point in your life that you consider to be the apex and you think that is as far as you can go. Or you may have become con- tent, complacent and relaxed, thinking that nobody in your family ever got to the point you have gotten to, and so you wonder what else you want to get. You can get beyond where you are today. You can sing better than you are doing right now. You can make more money than you are making right now. You can get out of that disease that you are suffering from right now. You can get out of that sin or habit that has held you back all these years. You can take the limits off your life!
Confession:
Lord, by faith I take the limits off my life today. No more barriers and no more obstacles. I open up the eyes of my understanding to see where You would have me be in every area of my life and I will be there, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
