Sometime in 2004, I dreamt that I was attacked and shot. When I woke up I felt this sharp pain in my side. I told my dad whom I was still living with at that time about it and he bought some drugs for me, however, the pain did not go away. It became so intense and I was forced to go for a scan. The scan showed that I had a polycystic kidney disease.
One day in church, Pastor Charles preached concerning breaking bread and receiving your healing. Now, coming from my parents’ church, I didn’t know anything about this; all I could say was that breaking of bread was for the “righteous.” However, during the Carpenter’s Place (Testimony Service) 2009, my faith in breaking bread grew stronger when a brother testified how he broke bread and received his healing.
When I got home that day, I broke bread, prayed and spoke God’s Word over the pain and instantly it disappeared. I was completely healed. I thank God for His Word that I receive from the pastors. It has kept my faith growing by the day. I am also grateful to God for bringing me to The Carpenter’s Church.
