Praise the Lord. I want to testify of God's goodness. These are my days of heaven upon the earth. In December 2009, I began to trust God for a new job. I therefore began to send in applications to some multinational companies, ECOWAS commission and international organizations online. Just before the end of the year I saw an advert in the papers for a UN job, I also applied for it. On the 17th of January, 2010 while Pastor Kech was preaching, she began to give a word of knowledge. She said “there is some one here who will receive a phone call this week.” I immediately put up my hand and received the word that day. She continued because many other people began to put up their hands and she said no, there is a specific person here and she went on and on and you're going to receive a phone call within the week. And I just thanked God for that job.
The following morning, at a few minutes to eight I received a call from a UN official and they were a bit apologetic…“We are sorry…Can you come to our office at about 9?” And I said yes. And just at that time I was about to put a call through to my present organization to ask for a day off, but when I got that call, all that changed, and in five minutes I got ready and I was already on my way for that interview. It was a written and oral interview and we were asked to come with our laptops. When I saw the questions I blanked out, but I just remembered Pastor's words from the pulpit I knew it was a done deal and I began to speak in tongues and I typed the questions into my laptop, that calmed me down. Then I realized firstly, it was not the position I had applied for, secondly, the Questions were answerable and thirdly, the one hour given to answer these questions was not enough for me to answer the questions but I began anyway. I answered five of the questions and I was on the sixth one when it was time to submit the script. I was however called for the orals which turned out to be a gist session. Actually one of the panelists didn't know when he said “Yes, you're going to be in that office opposite mine.”
After this I sent a text message to Pastor Kech, and she said to me “Take it; it's your Father's good pleasure.” Two days after, I was called to sign the medical forms and also asked to wait for the engagement letter from Geneva. It came! Hallelujah! It actually came and I have since resumed work. Last Sunday Pastor Kech even said “That person is here and has started work.” Our days of heaven upon the earth are here indeed. We should learn to be sensitive to the spoken words of our pastors from the pulpit and we should also know that God our father is able to open doors to bless us and also to increase us. Praise God.
