I had been in church for years and was faithful with my tithes and on some occasions I gave offerings, but I had never taken a step to give towards the budget. After due consideration, I decided I needed to do something about my financial condition which I didn’t like — I was living from hand to mouth.

Around this time, messages were coming in church on finances. Eventually, I decided to take a step of faith and give something, yet I felt that I did not have anything to give. As I considered the issue, I realized that I could give my television, Video and VCD sets to the church. I decided to do this though it was very painful for me. I brought them to the church office, and saw Pastor Nkechi who prayed and agreed with me for God’s miraculous provision and increase.

The next day was a service day in church, and a sister who works in a company I had applied to three years earlier, asked whether I was still interested in the job. I responded in the affirmative, and I gave her my CV again. Two weeks later, I was called to the office and right there and then I was given a job. This job is far better than I could have imagined.

I thank God I can now pay my pledge, do every other thing, and still have extra.
