Buying Without Money

Four days after my wedding anniversary, I gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, who came as a wonderful gift. Two months later, I got another gift.

I was at home on a Thursday and I had a call. The caller said he was calling from Lagos on behalf of the company he works for to congratulate me on my brand new Optima Kia. Thinking it was something fraudulent, I said, “ Please I am not interested in your game.” The man asked if I was not aware of the company promo? I still said I was not interested, and then I switched off my phone.

After I had switched on my phone he called again, and asked where I was and I told him I was in Port Harcourt. He then said they would bring the car to my house. I quickly asked him not to come to my house because I was afraid that the fraudsters already knew my home. Again I cut the call. At about 3 p.m. after switching on my phone, another call came in. The man said, “ Madam, don't switch off this phone, just listen to what I want to tell you.” He said he was the regional manager of the company, and that his colleagues from Lagos called to tell him that a Port Harcourt customer had won one of the promo cars. He then asked me to come to his office by 10:30 a.m. the following day for further information. When I still objected, he suggested I came with a policeman if I still felt it was a scam. He then gave me his name.

When my husband came home, I told him what had happened and he agreed with me that they were fraudsters. Later, a neighbour suggested we called a lady who works with the company. We called her and confirmed the name of the regional manager and that I had actually won a Kia Optima.

The following day, my husband and I went to the company and saw a Kia Optima on display. We saw the regional manager, and he congratulated me once again. I couldn't believe my ears. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry because I didn't believe anything they had been saying. At that point, I remembered Pastor Nkechi's message, “ Buying without money. ” I really bought a brand new Optima Kia without money.

They asked and got all information needed to process the car papers. The following Thursday, they handed over the car to me on National Television. God is awesome!
