1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.

Psalm 103:1-3

In Psalm 103 there are so many benefits listed. This is one of my favourite portions of Scripture. Each time I meditate on this, I realize afresh that I have benefits in Christ Jesus. My book, The Real Deal deals with these benefits in a simple but profound way.

One of these benefits is that God is the One who heals all our diseases. He is our Healer! That is a revelation worth receiving. Medicine is a gift from God but even doctors will tell you that all they do is prescribe a cure, but there is a higher power that heals. What an awesome privilege as a child of God to know that God is your Healer.

Today, I want you to realize that you have access to the benefit of healing. Access from the English Dictionary means a way of approach or the right to consult. Healing is a benefit that Christ gained for you. He also opened up an access to the healing that is yours. Your access to the benefit of healing is your way of approach to the benefit of healing. It is your right to consult your Healer concerning your benefit of healing.

Have you seen where people do not have free access to their fathers or uncles or big brothers who are in positions of authority? Even when they try, efficient secretaries and personal assistants put them through embarrassing interrogations and procedures and it becomes so difficult to gain access. Even amongst ministers, you have situations where some pastors are treated like deity and there is no procedure in place for members to have access to them or to other ministers within their hierarchical structure. The whole system is geared towards keeping people at bay, at a far distance.

Thank God! We have access to our Father, our Healer. We have a right to consult Him and be healed by Him.

Confession: Father I thank You because You are my Healer, and that I have the right to consult You and receive healing from You.
